The Need

What is Diaper Need? Diaper need is the lack of sufficient supply of diapers to keep a child clean, dry and healthy.

1 in 3 American families report experiencing diaper need.

Disposable diapers can cost $70 to $80 per month per child.

There is no state of federal program to assist with the purchase of Diapers.

Without diapers, parents cannot take their child to most daycares leaving the parent unable to work.

Our Story

In June of 2020, Holy Ghost Tabernacle recognized the need diaper need in the community of El Paso. Texas. The church established an outreach program called Her Pantry. It's mission was to help the underserved families in El Paso access children's diapers, infant formula and period products.

Mission

The El Paso Diaper Bank continues the sole mission of bringing attention to the plight of diaper need and period poverty in El Paso, Texas and it's surrounding areas.

Our Process

The El Paso Diaper bank primarily distributes diapers, infant formula, and period products through partner agencies who work with families struggling to afford diapers. Through generous donations from local businesses and individuals we are able to supplement supplies to families across West Texas and Southern New Mexico.
